George Hamilton, Chief Constable of the Police Service of NI, was the speaker at the launch event in the ‘Aspects of Leadership’ series, a collaboration between the IoD, Chief Executives’ Club at Queen’s and the William J Clinton Leadership Institute.
‘Aspects of Leadership’ will see a series of senior figures from across a spectrum of leadership positions in Northern Ireland and further afield give their insights into the challenges of leading an organisation in the private, public, social enterprise and political spheres.
IoD member, George Hamilton shared his experiences and thoughts on leadership within the Police Service and how his experiences in the early days of his police career, which he referred to as his ‘formative days’, helped to shape him and keep him grounded.
