Top 20 Directors Revealed in Shortlist for IoD NI Awards

The Institute of Directors Northern Ireland has announced the shortlist of finalists in this year’s IoD NI First Trust Bank Director of the Year Awards.

20 local business leaders will contest nine categories, as the Institute seeks to reward the individuals behind some of Northern Ireland’s most successful companies.

The IoD NI First Trust Bank Director of the Year Awards Lunch will be held in the Merchant Hotel in Belfast on 5th December.

The shortlisted finalists are:

There will also be an award for the Young Enterprise NI Director of the Year sponsored by Concentrix which celebrates the achievements of a Young Enterprise Northern Ireland graduate.

Chairman of the IoD NI, Paul Terrington, said:

“The calibre of business leaders in Northern Ireland is second to none. This year’s shortlist represents all sectors of the economy, many of whom are delivering results for their companies on a global stage.

“The Institute of Directors prides itself on providing local business leaders with the skills and opportunities to nurture talent and enable directors  to achieve corporate goals, responsibly and effectively.

“Each year the awards celebrate local individuals who lead by example and deliver results for their organisations.

“The selection process this year was exceptionally difficult with an unprecedented number of high calibre applicants to consider, and I look forward to meeting each of the finalists at the ceremony in December.”
