Women hold just 24% of global management jobs

Grant Thornton Partner Sacha Romanovitch launched the latest International Business Report at the 6th Women's Leadership Conference in Belfast on 8 March 2013. Speaking at the event sponsored by Vodafone and the Dept for Employment & Learning, and organised by the IoD and Chief Executives' Forum, Sacha revealed that the global average for the percentage of senior management roles held by women is just 24% with China far in the lead with 51%; the UK figure is 19% and for Ireland it is 21%.
